True Rail Handleless Kitchens
True handleless kitchens use an aluminium rail system behind the doors, allowing cabinets to open smoothly without visible handles. This creates the crisp horizontal lines that define modern German kitchen design.

Faux Handleless Kitchens
These kitchens offer the clean, linear look of a handleless design, but with fixed handles rather than a true-handleless rail system. They are a strong option if you like the visual simplicity of a handleless kitchen and want the same feel in a more cost-conscious way.

Modern shaker kitchens reinterpret traditional shaker proportions with slimmer frames and cleaner detailing. The result is a kitchen that combines contemporary simplicity with the subtle texture of a more classic design.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
When people talk about handleless kitchens they usually mean a kitchen with no visible handles in the ultra-minimalist style. When it comes to kitchen design that can come in a variety of ways so we will need to discuss whether you are looking for a true handleless kitchen with a rail system, an integrated handle system like a j-pull or a push to open style.
-
Of course! We design open plan living spaces all the time, and modern kitchens are one of the most popular choices in terms of kitchen style.
Large islands, integrated appliances and streamlined cabinetry allow the kitchen to feel calm and uncluttered all the while allowing for cooking, dining and socialising to happen together. When designed properly, a modern kitchen becomes a space that works equally well for everyday routines and entertaining.
-
J-pull kitchens use a shaped recess built directly into the door itself. True handleless kitchens use a rail system behind the cabinet doors, creating a sharper, more architectural appearance.
-
Of course. Most of our clients have busy family lives which is why we place function first in our design process. It’s not enough to have a kitchen that looks great if it won’t support heavy use and bustling family life. For more information, take a look at our ‘process’ page.
